“I have known Emma Wright for 10 years and I can honestly say that she is one of the kindest, most genuine young ladies I have ever known. She rides horses at my stable and is an exemplary student. She works hard and takes great care of her horses and her equipment and never leaves a mess. Emma is kind to the other riders and always has a positive word for her friends. She is kind and considerate and a great example to the younger riders.
Our sport is full of highs and lows, success and learning opportunities. Emma has been able to ride these waves with grace and seems to always find the lesson in the tough times. I know the lessons she learns through caring for her horses and competing at a high level will carry her through life. She is bound to be a huge success in any endeavor!”

“I think Emma Wright will be an asset to anybody’s program. Not only is she fun to be around but her determination and desire to learn and improve her skills is impressive. Her progress during the time we have been able to work together is significant. In addition to being a great student she brings a lot of positive energy to the barn. She cares about her fellow teammates both as competitors and human beings. She is always willing to lend a hand ( or a crop or a glove!!) if someone is in need or just needs some encouragement. Whoever gets Emma will enjoy their adventures with her and appreciate having her on their team!”

“Emma has always been one of my favorite students. On days that were tough or chaotic, I knew I could always count on her for a smile and an offer to help. In addition to helping in any scenario, she is incredibly resilient and hardworking. Nothing is too small a job – from picking up poop in the arena to showing others how to pick hooves, she does it with a grin from ear to ear and never a complaint to be heard.
During summer camp, Emma showed great leadership skills; she helped tack up horses when I had my hands full, she made sure campers were ready for activities, and she always made sure they were having as much fun as possible! She answered whatever questions they had, but more importantly she wasn’t afraid to ask questions of her own.
Whether it was about horses or math (or anything in between), Emma has always been eager to learn and grow as a rider and a student. She takes everything to heart, goes above and beyond to prove that she understands the problem put before her, and always finds a solution. She’s an invaluable asset to any team who I’ve been lucky enough to call her a student – and a friend – for four years.”
~ Maureen Michelson, Assistant Coach
“When I think of Emma, I think of someone who is determined, hardworking, and communicative. As one of her teachers this past year, I have seen her in her strengths and weaknesses, and I have seen her persevere through both with a consistent desire to always be improving and learning. Emma would be an asset to any team as she displays a supportive attitude, all the while, pursuing excellence herself. These qualities often inspire others to do the same.”
